The mission of the Diocese is to cater to the spiritual and liturgical needs of the Syro-Malabar Catholics in the U.S. and Canada. It involves the establishment of the Syro-Malabar parishes in different parts of the country and  of the fostering of the spiritual life of the people. Special attention will be given to developing the spiritual life of St. Thomas Christians by paying great attention to their participation in the Divine Liturgy and the sacraments. Also the establishment of CCD classes and  the starting of courses  for the formation of the  faith for the adult Catholics will be a major concern of the diocese.
