Bishop's Appeal - 2017

Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving Children in Jesus Christ,

Glory to God in the highest! Amen.

The summer has ended and falls is winding down with the thoughts of Thanks giving and hope of Christmas. As we prepare for these festive days in our life, let us thank the Lord for all His generous blessings in this year. Let the Lord be with you all through the year and let your thoughts and deeds glorify His name. I wish to thank you, for your kind support to the Diocese in the past years.

Sunday Reflection: Son of Man be lifted up just as Moses lifted up the serpent (Feb 4, 2018)

God’s love is manifested in sending his son Jesus to our poor conditions in the darkness of sin. The light of Jesus shined in this gloom. Those who accept the light of Jesus are redeemed and those who reject him to remain in the darkness of the world select their own condemnation. Those who were bitten by fiery snakes in the desert were saved by looking at the bronze serpent on a pole lifted up by Moses. Jesus the redeemer was lifted up in glory on a cross followed by his resurrection so that humanity could look at him with faith and be saved. Let us shine in the world with our truthful life after the model of Jesus who came as the light of the world.
